Peanut Butter

Easy homemade peanut butter cubes made healthier with a maple-sweetened peanut butter filling, banana and rich dark chocolate coating!

THE INGREDIENTS

➡️ 120ml smooth natural unsalted peanut butter (no sugar added)
➡️ 2 tablespoons maple syrup
➡️ 1 sliced banana
➡️ Pinch sea salt 
➡️ 200g dark chocolate (60-70% cocoa)
➡️ 2 teaspoons coconut oil
➡️ Handful walnuts
➡️ Silicon ice cube tray

THE METHOD

➡️ Stir together peanut butter, maple syrup and salt until combined.
➡️ Slice up the banana.
➡️ Melt together dark chocolate and coconut oil until smooth over a double boiler or in the microwave.
➡️ Spoon about a teaspoon of the melted chocolate into each cube.
➡️Place a teaspoon of peanut butter onto the chocolate in each clube and press it down gently so that some of the chocolate comes up the sides.
➡️ Then place one slice of banana in each cube.
➡️ Place half walnut on top.
➡️ Spoon more chocolate over top to cover evenly. Sprinkle with sea salt and refrigerate until set.
