30 minutes of mediation?!

Why Breathwork

Living with IBD, a stoma, or any chronic health condition means navigating daily challenges that can take a toll on both the body and mind.

Breathwork is a natural and effective
way to support your health by calming the nervous system, reducing inflammation, and easing stress and anxiety—all of which can trigger or worsen symptoms.

Through conscious connected breathing, we activate the parasympathetic nervous system (your body’s “rest and digest” mode), helping to regulate digestion, improve oxygen flow, and lower cortisol levels.

This practice not only brings emotional relief but also supports physical healing, making it a powerful tool for anyone managing chronic illness.

Unlike online sessions, this is an embodied, sensory experience —
in-person, heart-to-heart, surrounded by soothing nature, soft music,
and a small group of women who get it.

You’ll walk away feeling:

✨ Lighter in your body
✨ Calmer in your nervous system
✨ More connected to your emotions
✨ Creatively and spiritually filled up

This isn’t just a breathwork class.

It’s healing through community, movement, breath, and beauty.

Frequently Asked

questions

a few things you may be asking yourself...

1. I’ve never done breathwork before — will I be okay as a beginner?

Absolutely. This session is designed to be gentle, trauma-informed, and completely beginner-friendly. I’ll guide you every step of the way — no experience needed, just an open heart and a willingness to breathe.

2. Do I need to be ‘good at art’ to join the painting part?

Not at all! This isn’t about creating a masterpiece — it’s about expressing how you feel through colour and creativity. No art skills needed. It’s a beautiful, freeing way to seal in your healing and connect with yourself.

3. What do I need to bring with me?

Just come as you are. I’ll provide the mats, paints, flowers, and everything else you need. You may want to bring a cosy blanket, water bottle, and wear something comfy so you can relax and move in.

4. Is this suitable if I have IBD, a stoma, or a chronic illness?

Yes — this space is created especially for women navigating chronic health. Every part of the session is designed with care, calm, and your nervous system in mind. You’ll be supported, seen, and never pushed beyond what feels right for your body.

5. What if I feel emotional or overwhelmed during the session?

That’s totally okay — in fact, it’s often a sign that your body is finally releasing what it’s been holding. You’ll be held in a safe, supportive environment where everything you feel is welcome. This is your time to let go, soften, and heal.
